Knocking Sound From Aristo V300 - 1999

WOULD SOMEBODY TELL WHAT IS THE PROBLEM IF THERE IS KNOCKING SOUND IN THE FRONT WHEN PARKING OR TURNING AT LOW SPEED?

I'VE REPLACED ALL SHOCKS TO THE NEW FACTORY STOCK, AND ALL FRONT BUSHES & BALL JOINTS, IT STOPPED A WHILE BUT NOW APPEARS AGAIN. IT'S ANNOYING...

Potentially the brake pads moving around - have they been changed recently?

Indeed, I've changed my brake pad from AP Lockheed to Toyota factory stock. The sound comes out even when I'm not stepping on the brake.

Do any one have an idea about what had happened?

Hi,

Did you change just the lower ball joints or did you do the upper ones as well.

The noise could also be coming from the top mounts of the suspension.

If it is when you are at real low speed and on full lock one way have a look in your wheel arches for something catching - I had something coming away from the inner skin on a previous car and on full lock I guess the wheel must have just caught it and it used to beat like a drum!! I'd changed bearings and steering joints before discovering it.

i've checked it is nothing related to the inner skin

i've also changed the upper and lower balljoints (actually i've changed the shocks, together with the brushes of anti-roll bar, all the arms in the front). it doesn't help.

I've schedule to change also the brake disc and see if the situation can be improved (but actually I don't think the sound is coming from the disc).

Wouldn't the engine mount actually cause his car to "vibrate" at certain RPM's? Just thinking out loud :).

The engine mount was changed 1/2 years ago. It's now only 12000KM after the change. Therefore shouldn't related the the engine mount.
