My 99 IS200 is showing the signs of old age well at least the callipers are, all rustic and old looking it looks out of place as i keep the body shell in tip top condition anyone had any experience of ordering new ones on line? any recomendations etc.

Not really keen on painting as i just can't make my mind up on colour to go with the green :tomato:

Ta in advance

My wife's green IS200 has had red (smooth hammerite) painted calipers with black logos for the last two years and they still look good...I did mention she would be getting new wheels and tyres (my 17" from the 250), and she asked "Will I still have the red bits though, I like that"... :D

I'd paint 'em black.

Besides whats the cost of four calipers !! Probably a deposit on a newer car with clean calipers !

No it's just standard Hammerite 'smooth'. You can pay more for a can of 'Caliper Paint', but what's the point as the Hammerite adhesion to a non flaky surface, degreased surface is excellent and comes in quite a few colour options...mine's still good two year's after application :)

How much? :o Just replaced the front calipers on my GS -- 150 quid exchange from Brakes International, and an hour's labour (£42) at my local garage to fit them.
