Hi All,

Have been a member for 18 months now, and, although not very active in the contributions, have visited and read every topic daily.I joined the club after purchasing a fellow members Mark3 1995 and am now totally besotted by the Lexus marque. Well, today I picked up my new Lexus. A 1999 Mark1V,62k,FSH,Dynamic Handling Pack,Silver,Black Interior, with all the options.I am over the moon.Living in a leafy suburb of Surrey (Weybridge) I thought that buying a car from Perth (Scotland) would be an adventure. After a week of negotiations on the phone,I travelled up to Glasgow from Euston on the Caledonian Sleeper (8 hours)picked up the car at 10am and drove straight back to Surrey. 405 miles and 6 hours of total driving pleasure. Now I have 2 Lexus. Is the best place to sell on eBay,or,advertise in Autotrader.Any advice greatly received. Not sure of the forum rules, but would dearly love to recommend the dealership in Scotland where I purchased the mark 1V. John and Chris of 'Motorists Choice'.I have no affiliation with this company at all, apart from buying the best Lexus I have ever driven or owned( I bought and paid for this car on the basis of 4 photos and talking to a car salesman on the telephone''AM I MAD'')Many thanks in advance for your forthcoming wisdom.

Hi Graham I've just seen the LS on eBay and it looks good but I noticed there was no reserve on it, did you mean to do this? only reason I ask is because it's coming up to Christmas and may go for less than you hoped and I would hate to see a fellow member ( and a series 4 owner Boo Hoo I'm jealous!) lose out.

Cheers,

Steve

Very nice Graham, so if I bid £100 and it's a winning bid, in effect I get a car + a tank full of petrol for nought. :whistling:

Hope you get a good price for her. Linky HERE

Peter, also at the bottom of my listing I am giving a discount of £100 to any LOC member who buys the car.

So far, for your winning bid of £100 you get the car, tank full of petrol (£72ish) and £28 cashback.

Hi Graham,

As it's Christmas why not do a special BOGOF ( buy one get one free) offer and a full tank of petrol and the cashback offer :D

Now you're talking!

If you don't get enough bids, PULL it off eBay before the end! You can sell it on here too....or re-list after Christmas sales!
