Key Fob Battery

has anyone had to change one yet, i have 2 spares but want this one back working again... can it be done by me or does it have to be done by mr lexus

Buy the Battery and do a DIY or drop it in the jewellers.

didnt want to open it unless i had to but if its a watch Battery i will do diy, cheers

Battery type is in the handbook, IIRC CR1616

And yes easy to change, you will need cross head precision screwdriver as well. And watch the screw that holds the case together at the end of the key blade, can be a bit stubborn so use the proper driver.

Not if you do it quick enough. At least thats the case on the Scorpio (You have 20secs), not had to change the Lex one, its done on a service.
