Traction Control

Too damn right, I nearly pee'd my pants with laughter this am, I have to negotiate a dodgy junction on the way to work and I always seem to get to it at the same time as this BMW 318 today he was in front of me and tried to pull out into a gap in traffic and did an impressive 180, the look on his face was brilliant I had to try hard not to laugh in his face, I just put my foot down and sailed straight on out !! Certainly at this time of year it is the best mod that I have on the car, no wheel spin no annoying loss of power and it keeps me going forward - Snow whats the problem? :D

Got back late last night from watching Two Towers so instead of parking outside my house I could only find a space facing up a steep hill in a near-by street. :o This morning I thought I was going to have trouble but made it up the hill fine.

LOL, Claire, the white van man must be an ice maker ;)

Simon you saw him off work just after, in his beemer 318.

TRC combinated with the stability control works great, I really enjoy it everyday since last snowing & freezing saturday.

Amazing to see a rear wheels propulsion doing fine on ice & snow.

Hmmmmmmmm...........snow this morning.

Can't be too many people that are happy with their standard traction control this morning  :(

Simon, I bet yours is working just fine today eh?

Mark,

If that isn't a sales pitch for your Racelogic traction control system, then my name isn't

I notice the IS200 is the feature car here...

My GS300 is not overly troubled by snow. Sure it clicks and cuts the power on tough stuff but I must confess it only really comes in when I "test" it.

I still get a kick out of letting the back end fishtail on left handers... when you do it with the T/C on it still goes a bit but snaps back in an unhealthy way. better to turn it off and use the right foot to control the slide with a bit of Opposite lock.

Guess it's only down th my jouvenile tendancies that I even know this, So I don't expect you guys to relate at all.... :whistling::whistling:

Loz :yahoo:
