I have decieded to sell or trade in my Mk2 GS 300 Sport, its a 2000 V plate in platinum ice with black leather with factory navigation. It's done 100k with full history.

What can I expect to get for it ?

I reckon around 6.5k trade-in. 7.5k-8k private sale.

Bad time of year for selling a GS. High petrol prices too. GS cars seem to be dropping bigtime each month right now.

Thanks, I need to travel to Glasgow from Cheshire every week now so need to get something that will be good on the mpg front.

I was thinking of getting a later shape Alfa 156 JTD but not 100% sure yet.

If the GS was a bit more frugal I would keep it as they are very very good cars.

Call me a snob but I couldn't have a Mondeo on the path, it might be a great car but they are soooooo boring looking, same goes for a Vectra.

I used to have a Alfa Selespeed a few years back, cracking car apart from the Selespeed, handled great, went well and looked a bit different.

Might look at a Saab 9-5 as well.
