Watched the Highlights on Match of the Day, must have been a brilliant game to watch live, I knew the result but still felt the excitement.....

What about Steven Gerrard, pure class!!! created the first and scored the rest..... Has to be Englands greatest hope for the World Cup.....

What about Sven's choice for strikers - 2 with broken legs (Owen and Rooney) and who will not be match fit at all, one who could be used as their walking stick (Crouch) and Theo - who I reckon will play well...

Looks like Sven going with a defensive attitude again! Boring!

What about Defoe and Bent...surely there's someone in the club's who can play attack for England!

I always thought the problem with Sven was that he guaranteed spaces to players...gives them no motivation (not that they should need any).

Glad he's going..and I hope Mclaren changes that naff defensive system (though many say he's the one behind it). Bring back Scolari or bring in Tel!

went on one of those luxury coaches had breakfast and full roast dinner on the way back was boss
