Road Noise

Anyone got any quick easy tips to try and reduce the road a little on IS200 nothing fancy or complicated

just come from motorway journey and just wish i could her that sweet engine noise a bit better when your when your accelerating road noise just seems to drown it out a bit

Why do people always go on about road noise .......... maybe I don't get it, or maybe it doesn't really bother me ....

but for everyone that 'complains' about it , it can't be that bad surley ?

I'm Currentley running on Michelin's (sports somethin or other) any better suggestiones to reduce road noise will be greatley received

I just feel that the roar of the engine could be a little clearer/Louder WOW FACTOR (without engine mods)

Low speeds are fine it just seems to be mortorways that causes me probs

I get the road noise!

Its like you can hear the wind whistling slighly more than say for example my mates BMW!

But to behonest it dont bother me I just crank up the stereo!

And its very minor the noise anyhow!

never noticed road noise, but i have a Kazama, girlfriend banging on in my ear and Goodyear F1's.

Have you got correct tyre pressures?

When I first got the car it was on Bridgestones and the road noise was pretty bad. Changed to Goodyear Eagle F1s and much better. :)

im on dunlop s9000's and road noise is not an issue

The road noise would be a tune to my ears if my bird shut up for 5 minutes!

On another note, I did get less road noise when I changed my tyres.

It's mainly tyres that effect road noise!!

Also, make sure your windows are closed that makes a little difference

If all else fails turn the stereo up until you can't hear anything else!!

Just fitted Falken 452s all round and I think they're quieter than the Dunlop SP9000s. Nothing will be quiet on a concrete motorway though

I've got yokohama's and the road noise isn't noticable.

Tell you what though if you drive with your window open you can hear one hell of a whistle coming from the air buzzin through your wing mirror, or is that just me

My is200 has pirelli zero rosso 225/45/17 and i don't like the road noise.
