New Alloys

Recommended Posts

Hi

Am looking at getting some new alloys, I want to keep with the 17" option.

Thinking of Kei RSS to be exact, 7 x 17"

Has anybody fitted this size/type and did they have to modify the calipers for them to fit?

Thanks in advance

Aaron

Not a specific reply to your problem, but on my old car I bought some alloys which rubbed a tiny bit, easiest option was some 3mm spacers which cost about £5 - did the trick perfectly. For such a small offset, you can use spacer plates no problem at all.

If the wheels are the correct fitment for the car they shouldn't rub at all on anything. Especially seeing as you are going for the standard size of rim.

If you do need to use spacers anything up to 3mm should be fine to use with standard wheel studs. Prob better to use 1 or 2mm spacers though.
