Strange Problem

Hi guys,

Not sure what to make of this problem so I could do with some help. :D

On Wednesday I was driving to work in the morning, when about 20 minutes after I had turned into a side street, all the lights on the bottom left hand side of my dash all came on for about 2-3 seconds and then went off. This includes Airbag, TRC etc The Radio also cut out and the car felt like it was stuttering; after this stopped the car felt normal again and I managed to get to the car park without issue apart from the radio cutting out for 2-3 seconds occasionally. It my be me getting paronid but I'm sure I could smell buring??

Anyway, I went into work, came back at 12pm and the car drove fine apart from the radio occasionally cutting itself out and the car sometimes suddenly stutturing for 2-3 seconds. It appears the radio cuts out when I'm going round a corner/bend or driving over a really rough road??

Yesterday the car drove almost normally apart from the occasional stutter and the radio cutting out occasionally.

In hope some of the information is not a red herring, but I'm going to get my car linked up to my mechanic mates ODBII computer to see if there is any fault code on the ECU.

My mechanic mate (after speaking on the phone) thinks that it might just be the alternator since I do occasionally have trouble starting the car in the morning first time and this has been slowly getting worse over the past year.

Any ideas appreciated.

Have you checked your Battery connections ?
