Surely cam and drive belts have know bearing on the car's ride and handling am I going mad or what?

The misses just thinks im being paranoid???????????? (She Don't Drive Though)

Any advise am I wrong or what?

Cheers

I think you misses is right, the belts have no bearing on the car's ride and handling.

But having said that, the garage that did the work for you may have checked your tyre's for you ? and if thay have put/taken air out/in to the right pressure, this might be why the ride is better now :D
