My mate and I are going out with sisters who live in a not so great part of Dublin. He has an Audi which was broken into at the weekend, simple case of smash and grab because a jacket was in the car.

So, How easy is it to steal an IS 200? am i safe from break ins? I never leave anything in the car and i know the stereo can't be stolen without a great deal of effort.

Its so safe its very unlikely to be stolen unless you leave your keys in view of the letterbox or get out of the car at the traffic lights to talk to some suspicious bloke.

Although if your realy unlcuky like a couple who lived up my end of town. They went out for a meal and the car had vanished by the time they finished. Think that was a case of lift and tow..........

I keep keys in view of the letterbox.

Pity they don't fit ANYTHING, eh? They're old keys, just there as bait. If they go missing, I'll tell the cops that there are key-fishers in the area, and give them the CCTV to back it up.

Did anyone notice the comment from the commentator that they coud'nt trace the driver 'cos he mingled with the crowd?

In my opinion they should have arrested the bl**dy lot of them and locked them all up till they gave up the culprit.

As usual, gutless when it comes to crime, brilliant at motoring offences etc.
