Hope peeps will take the time to vote .... I've spent a few hours last night reading old posts and there dosen't seem to be an all round winner.... so maybe this poll will shed some light....

These are just some off the tyre choices that i came accross.... there are bound to be slight variations but all opinions are welcome....

hope i haven't forgot an obvious tyre but .......here goes

yup i forgot Dunlops :crybaby:... thought they were the first ones i put in .... dam

if dunlops were your choice please post it below and maybe a Moderator can swap them with the poorest tyre instead....

Any other choices as well.......

thanks

Voted Toyo because I've got these on my 17's. Never had any issues with them.

Thanks to the link Gord posted for eBay, I'll be getting the Toyos again for my 18's

i dont have any of the above, i have michelin pilot sports and there excellent, the grip in the dry and especially in the wet is immense, better than anything ive ever tried, as for legevity, im not too sure yet as theyve only been on about 8 months

kumho ecsta supra 712's for me, well priced, good in the dry and wet and my first set lasted for over 20k miles, whereas the pirelli p-zeros were bald after 10k.

Michelin Pilot Sports on mine now for around 13000 miles and still loads left. Good grip in both wet and dry. Very happy with them!

I had Toyo Proxes on mine for a year but they never lasted long enough for me :crybaby:

Then price wise on 18's were about £120ish a tyre :shutit:

So we had to economise on the tyres and get Kumho Ecstas, they cost me £70 fitted :D

The grip is pretty good for the price, I'm one happy bunny :winky:

Did have Pilots Sports on mine but I found the road noise is not great on them.

Michelin Pilot Sport - Not so good in the wet and noisy V-tread, otherwise excellent.

Yokohama AVS db550 - Great in all respects except the HORRIBLE tramlining

Continental Sport Contact 2 - The one I choose every time now for all round performance and comfort. Very surefooted, lovely at top speed, it's not really a sports tyre but a tyre for high powered limousines.

Cheers
