Thanks to this magnificent forum I've got the Altezza A01B type in my IS200 SE now ;)

Apart from the fun it is really helpful in normal conditions, especially when pulling out of a junction, even more so when pulling out of a junction with a speed bump / ramp :) Very pleased with it.

No worries Noel. The information was originally posted on the NZ Altezza Club which I can't link to from here since this forum replaces any link to that club...

Anyway, here's a new pic with the right info highlighted:

EDIT: Pic removed since Noel has now posted it at the top. :)

To rehash a really old thread but someone linked it on another site. These codes & ratios are only relevant to the IS200 & even then they're still incorrect. My RS200 has axle code A01B which is a 4:100 LSD according to Microcat. Best to email someone working at a Toyota dealer (like myself or Nick) with your frame & model number to confirm the ratio. B still denotes LSD.

Altezza's came with option of 4.100 & 4.300 in the SXE10/GXE10 & 3.272 in JCE10

IS had 3.585, 3.909 & 4.100

HI !

This means that if is.. A01A/B=3.585, A02A/B=3.909, A03A/B=4.100 Yes?

where did you get this information? I was looking for this but I could not find :)

P.S.The higher ratio is better or worse acceleration?

Is there any better ratios for acceleration on these? I heard the autos were 4.3? I have a torsion diff, and I'm looking to do a deal for an open so I can weld it... Anyone?

I work at a Toyota & Lexus dealer

Bit more info on ratios http://www.trdparts.jp/english/list_race-mis_sxe.html

SXE10

'98-05/'01 - 4.100

May '01> - 4.300

TRD - 4.556

jono395 why would you want welded? Put some Motul Gear Competition 75w140 in the Torsen & it'll hook up nicely

From what I've heard the Jdm diffs were 7.5" and the internals swappable into mk1/mk2 supras/ 2wd trucks with f code axles

And the is300 diffs are bigger and compatible with later model supras

Can anyone confirm or deny
