It wasn't that expensive as it was bought directly from USA :D

@Mark.. Yes mate, I plan on getting the car to around 500 - 550 bhp.. Then I'll be happy :D

I think the work done would have beared this in mind that he was going to in the near future be aiming for bigger output.

Thats the same as my first Turbo i got........ and from the same place! did not know at the time, but when i fitted it the Oil seals had gone :crying:

The new one i got is all so from the same place and thats a, T04, T3/T4 GT40 internals, its A/R 50

i was told at the time it was to big for the job, :whistling:

How are you going to get this to fit Ad, as your turbo that you have now is B/M and the new one is for T/M, dont think this Turbo will fit in the space where your old one sits  if i was you i would have gone for the internals next, not a new Turbo :winky:

any how have fun, and i hope it fits..............

:D

Sounds well fierce Adie :D

But you're gonna need to spend a shed load of dinaro to get 500+ bhp.....surely better to go for a transplant?

Posted

Well Done Adie! :D Your car is turning into a moster!! (Monster Mk2 maybe?)

Posted

All is in hand :winky: :D It is not going where the old one is as you are quite right, it will not fit. New manifold / downpipe (again) and internals will be done. The rev limiter will also be raised.

The turbo is not from XSPOWER :winky:

Thought about transplant...Too much hassle and too much money :o

Looks like you're realizing what I planned for the next 2 months. :D

And don't forget the mom of all ECUs to raise rev limit and adjust ignition timing.

And beg that the transmision will do the job.

I wouldn't push it too far also with the internals you get soon. ;)

The internals will be fine, but think of the rest on the car. :whistling:

For 500+ HP..... I could also sell you my engine and transmission.

Looking good bud!! B)

Good luck for all!! :winky:

Yes mate. I'll take it a step at a time. No rush :D

Already got the daddy of ECUs fitted :D

Then why has it got XSpower on it! if it did not come from there :duh: unless you got it from someone else, who got it from XS, but it is an XSpower Turbo :whistling:

It certainly will mate :D Which is why I had the larger injectors and FCON V PRO fitted :winky:

Today managed to finally fit the rear mintex discs with mintex brake pads.. (What a pain in the arse that job is :duh: ).

Then stripped all the old black paint off the calipers and repainted a lovely shade of postbox red and refitted new Lexus decals. Also the new wheels are now on with some lovely red chrome wheel nuts...

Next the front

Just normal mintex discs mate. Marks probably just off the new pads..

The wheel nuts I got from Australian eBay.. £30 for 20 and they are all kind of locking..
