Squeeky Clutch

could anyone assist me as to why i have a squeeky clutch?. the clutch itself seems to be fine, no slippages etc.

I tried going up a hill at around 30mph in 4th and then flooring it and the car picked up ok, so im guessing the clutch is mechanically fine.

i noticed it when the car was stationary yesterday, i pressed the clutch and there was a squeeky noise from underneath the car, it happens when i dip and remove my foot off the clutch as it springs back and forth (if that makes sense ie when a pumping action is applied). its sounds like a creeky door (the best way i can explain the sound).

is it anything i should be worried about?

Hello there Dan, when I took the car I have now for a test drive, it too had a squeaky clutch pedal. I asked Lexus to look at it and fix it before I agreed to buy the car. I have had the car for over two months now and done nearly 2000 miles and have not heard anything from the clutch. I think it just needed a bit of WD40 or something, nothing to worry about though.

Dan I had the same symptoms on a Calibra I had a number of years ago and a quick squirt of WD40 seemed to cure it.
