Gs450h..where Do I Sign Up?

Check out this week's Autocar, with a brief road test of the GS450h..They normally slate Lexus for being boring and bland..but they are wowed by the 5.2 second 0-60 time, the 36mpg combined economy and the instant performance of the CVT gearbox. 30-50 in 2.7 seconds. They say it's quicker than a 911, tiptronic model. Plus, it's super clean so low road tax. They point to the LS600h coming next year which will do 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. Lexus are redefining performance saloons!!!

5.2 secs to 60? That's quite impressive, just wish Lexus had an AMG alternative so it could stand up next to an E55 AMG

Well they could have a 'Banzai!!!' division, if you NEED a label to convince you?( There IS a speed section, but is that Nissan?Or Honda?)

Couldnt care if it was the ABC division as long as the performance starts matching the M division/audi/merc/etc

Oops, that made sense in my head!

What I meant was not that it was just a label, but now that Lexus are making some really quick cars, they need some performance tuned ones, that look the part too B)

Take the RS4 for instance, all the reviews say its great, but I've never driven so doesn't mean much to me. However, saw one in a dealer the other day, and wow, it looks stunning - its so different to the A4 in the flesh :o

I understand that there's no point in any 'show', if there isn't any 'go', but what's the point in the 'go' if there isn't even a little 'show'? :winky:
