No BOV....for more efficient breathing. The excess boost goes back into the system, so no whkaaaakka whkaaaakka whkaaaakka, just a $hit load of ponies :D

where exactly does it go

only place is back into the turbo, which then induces stalling and possible turbo damage

how does not having a BOV make the engine breath better?

considering 99% of manufactures put them on turbo cars as std, but just make them re-circ dump valves the reason being there is no pishh noise more than anything.

dump/bov are a good safety feature on high HP well tuned engines

This is what i thought the whole point was for BOV/dump, to release the built up pressure as to not harm the turbo.

Am i right in thinking that s/c's dont build up enough pressure to really warrant a BOV? Or is the pressure built obviously not gas because its ran by the cam?

Love the noise of BOV's.

I was just thinking that, How the Hell it make the car More Efficent :duh: you have a BOV , like bazza said.......to stop the boost going back to the Turbo and stalling it,

Bov save,s your Turbo & wastegate save,s your Engine :winky:

What I sould have said was "No external BOV"........so the boost goes back into the system rather than vented to atmosphere
