Quite an interesting engineering project, but why you'd want to transplant the Altezza engine into such an old corolla (and not just use the Altezza as it was) is totally beyond me :duh:

Must have been from a rear ended or rolled Altezza.....

I know one mechanic who managed to squash an old celica engine into a starlet....... why?...... well he had the engine from a crashed car and thought why not......

best part he told me was the shock factor on peoples faces as his starlet could take on anything..... this was before there were any Starlet turbos around.......

Fensport have done something similar with a Corolla - 200mph!

Seen few cars with the 3S-GE.

Its a good engine, 100hp+ per litre n/a is a rare occuance.. especially in 4 pot.
