Tte Rear Skirt

Got a new painted TTE rear skirt coming my way (IS200). I've read that they are fitted at the rear arches (screws I assume) and with tape along their length?

Just looking for any tips or advice from member who have fitted these rear skirts themselves, what to look out for etc.

Any help or advice much appreciated.

I know I was told the TTE one is easier to fit than the rear TRD one. Id assume that fixing screws will be needed and the rubber type gasket you get just tidies the edge up once the rear lip is butted against the bumper itself.

yes a couple of weeks ago.

Its a tight fit, and def needs someone to help.

The tape lays on the inside of the bumper and no rubber strip like on the Lexus bits. Best idea is to lift the corner of the tape up and onto the external part of the bumper (hold with masking tape) as once its in place you wont be able to get to it.

once you have tightened up the screws start to pull tape at 45 degrees to bumper and it should come off leaving the sticky side to the car. Press and leave for a hour or so before driving.
