Picked up my S/C today off Sipey. Many thanks :winky: :D nice to meet you.

At present im using Castrol GTX 5w-30 oil in my standard form engine, is this still ok or would you folks reccomend anything else once ive installed the super charger?

Good to meet you to matey.

Last 3 oil changes I have also used GTX. I did use Mobil 1 but as the miles racked up on the car I started to use something a little thicker.

How far have you got with installing the charger mate?

No where yet :lol:

As you know my mates dad is fitting it so we need to do it with a full day of light. Im sure i'll keep you posted and everyone else :D

Am I better to start to use say 10w - 40 grade oil then? Also, where can I buy them super charger belts from?

i use Valvoline VR Racing 5W/50 in both cars

however the OEM specification will be fine, to use with the supercharger

Thanks Matt, its not like I am concerned with the cost just want to ensure that my engine continues to run as it should and so you have answered my question.
