The cameras on the blue poles take a pic at one point and then a few miles down the road take another pic and calculate your speed between the two points.So i supose it is poss to go through one at a very high speed then pull over to the hard shoulder wait a minute and then carry on to the next one.I see a motor bike go through a camera yesterday on one wheel with his finger in the air and get this someone on the BACK :o .oH AND THESE CAMERAS were ON THE M20 towards dover and folkstone so anyone doing a trip to france beware.

I wouldn't spend any money on a detector - a locator is the way to go IMO now (such as a Blue i or a Road Angel).

Snooper have a new hybrid detector / locator out now which is supposed to be pretty good too.

I can vouch for the road-angel - only problem is it is a bit on the bulky side.

Amazing how you watch your speed - any the GPS speedo certainly shows how far out the standard speedo is - speedo 70mph = GPS 62mph.

the cameras on blue poles are traffic flow monitoring cameras - not police speed cameras.

How's this for daft, anyone near enough to Slough seen the Farnham Road? From 30mph limit to 20mph limit back to 30mph, back to 20mph - on one road and only a few metres apart
