As far as I know Kerb weight is the weight of the vehicle.

Gross weight is the maximum vehicle loaded weight.

So the car can carry on the axels close to 1/2 a metric tonne.

Well my new Lex lasted 13 days before someone has managed to drive into whilst parking and then bugger off, the rear bumper and passenger side rear wheel arch now have a nice scrape along them

It makes me feel like going out and buying a £200 banger, just so i can drive into people without giving a :tsktsk:
