Electric Buffers

Helloo all,

Im thinking of buying one of those electric buffers to polish up my IS, ive used to seasch button but those threads are now ancient.

Could anyone reccomend a good one to get?

any tips about buffing ive never done it before with an elecric one, just good old man power lol

If you are getting serious about detailing your car there is only one way to do it mate and thats to buy a Porter Cable ( PC ) from AUTOPIA over in the states.

You can get it over here as a kit but it still works out cheaper to order it from the states and delivery will probably be quicker!!!!!

If you go into the Lexus car care section you will find loads of info about it.

Quite a few people have them on here and they are always doing good deals regarding the PC at autopia.

Also it all depends on what you use aswell when it comes to detailing you car.

Personally i mainly use Meguiars stuff for mine, and have no complaints up to yet.

There are two model numbers 7336SP and 7424 both machines are identical, but they come equipped slightly differently. The 7336SP, sander polisher comes with a 6-inch counterweight; Porter-Cable outfits the 7424 Polisher with a 5-inch counterweight and a 6-inch foam-polishing pad, PN 54745.
