BAck on topic, I'd go back to the travel agents and ask to look at there book under the counter that has details and comments on all accomodation. If that says it's bad then tell them they should have told you & they can pay the £50 !!

Okay - Update time :

Got home last night, and rang my sister.

She rang the travel agents yesterday, and politely (ahem) mentioned to the person that we weren't happy about paying the £50 per head for transfer - considering the fact that we have read comments about the hotel being run-down and it therefore shouldn't be in their books.

The person on the end of the phone - very Little Britain - just replied by saying "well WE haven't been told anything about this, and as far as we are concerned YOU asked for the transfer so YOU have to pay the money". Huc-Hu, computer says no !! :D

Hmmmm......does seem fair really as it IS our request.

BUT, my sister being like a pit-bull when she gets on the phone told the person "okay, stuff it. We'll just stay with the Dolphin Beach Resort Hotel, but if we get there and it DOES turn out to be a tip like others have put on the internet, then we shall be suing your a$$". So the agency person then said she'll speak to her supervisor.

She then came back to the phone and told my Sis that they have now reduced the transfer cost to £6 per head ??!?!

So, all's well that ends well :D
