Hi all,

My RS200 has only 40,000 miles on it but is six years old, so i'm going to get the timing belt done soon...

I was checking prices on the net and Fensport seem to have all the bits in the one shop but poor info....

Spark plugs?...Iridium are what i have found from searching these forums, but whats the story with HEAT range?.......what suits the Altezza?

Belt tensioner bearing....Is this really necessary to change as well?

Fuel filter....should this be done? They have two types...

Fuel Filter - In tank up to 05/00

Fuel Filter - In tank 05/00 on

....how can i be sure which one suits before ordering...car first reg. in jul '00....could it have been in stock awhile?

Water pump.......leave it alone if it's working?......how about the coolant?

There's no point in asking the local Toyota dealer these questions ....." Toyota WHAT?...Jap is it?"...

I'm hoping to get all parts needed and put them in a nice big box and take them to a local garage to install, this local garage have a good reputation for being thorough and know a good bit about rallying....

Cheers

Noel,

Try the IK22s, you can get them off US e-bau shipped for under £30 :D

Fuel Filter, never changed mine, but worth it i guess..

Oil Filter you can get from toyota.

hello, I´m newbie here.

bits I´ve needed (cam belt and beams and dual vvt-i badges), I have bougth from local toyota dealer. No probs at all.

My engine had approx 30000km in it, but it´s 1998 model, so I thought it would be best to belt.

Welcome to LOC....

Well my local Main Toyota dealer is very friendly too....but haven't a clue about the Altezza, they don't stock even an air filter for it...but would order one if i wanted.....for DOUBLE the price i can get one off the net inc postage!!......also ripped me off for a replacement Coil pack....so won't be making too many trips in their direction........

But they do fill up the windscreen washer for you for only €2.00, if it's part of a main service.........
