Head Unit Knackered

Having stripped down my headunit this morning, I managed to wind the cartridge up and down and fish 2 cd's out of the top. I thought this might have cured the problem but obviously not. Need some advice on what to do now. I do prefer the look of the original stock headunit to the aftermarket ones and the 6 cd changer but as people have said, they just keep going wrong

If this was to happen to me, i would go aftermarket, coz they just keep going wrong

EBAY ultimate headunit

DVD,SAT NAV, MP3, CD, even has a radio(hehe), cool or what...

don't be tempted by the really cheap ones on eBay, different reigon sat nav no good for europe, or the guy selling a link to a website to get one cheap....as they say "too good to be true " and "you should have known better".....

how old is the car, they have a five year warranty due to the faults,

if not then get a really nice after market one, that is what I will be doing when the dreaded err3 appears
