Hi Group, Ive had my Is200 for a week now! yesterday the CD changer decided to jam up! all I hear is a motor trying its best to either eject or suck in a disc and it wont change discs, the discs are originals not cdr's or anything odd like that, its not under warranty as its just gone 3 years old :(, Anyone have a solution that doesnt involve taking out the unit and removing the cd's by hand?

I also got my Gold Club Card today and stickers etc. I feel like one of the Big Boys now w'hoo:)

thanks for being such a friendly and helpfull group.

while pushing the eject or "next cd" button give it a good thump on the left hand side of the console. this has worked for me in the past!

Forget about taking the unit apart _ i had a look at mine when it ws being replaced and all the access plates overlap each other and to top it all u have to take the face plate off first which is held on with about 20 individual clips - not a job for the faint hearted+

there is a thread below that relates to this problem "The dreaded err 3". It has some suggestions there but I have found the best way is as fluff said a wack from the side. It's always worked for me.

Just don't hit it too hard!! <_<

anyone have any other ideas?

Looks like im going to have to take it to bits as no amount of bashing will unstick it!
