Mk 1 Gs Fuel Filter.

I changed the last one on my old Lex when the Engine was out and don't recall draining the tank.

Im just about to change this one and need to know if its before or after the fuel pump. ie. Will the tank syphon empty with the filter removed or is the pump in the tank and the only petrol loss will be whats in the lines and Filter.

Well that was fun........not.

It refused to come off due to the amount of rust on it so I ended up getting the hacksaw on it and replacing the filter with one from a Vauxhall Calibra.
