Hi all,

Driving at night the car seems to not have enough Battery juice.....i mean with full lights on and A/C and the stereo , if i use the electric window switch the full beams dimm noticeably....

It's supposed to be a new Battery but if looks very small for the space provided.....should i get a heavy duty Battery?.....The Battery gauge seems to be charging as it is positioned slightly over 13 volts .....

The weather is very wet recently...could it be bad connectors? ..i checked the belts and they are all nice and tight.....

Please ...all advice welcome

thanks

i dont know the Battery on the altezza but as an example on an IS the standard Battery is 45AH, all aftermarket batteries are 60Ah, on the standard Battery the lights etc do dim when using mister, windows etc

after a new higher amp Battery all is fine, so check the Battery capacity and go from there.

Standard Tezza Battery is tiny! Get it changed to a proper UK one like Rob says, but you will need to change the Battery connectors too as the UK ones are larger (get them from your Lexus dealer - easy to do)...

I had to do all this on mine...
