Hi ,

Whats the offical name of the blue colour of a '00 altezza/lexus.....is it Blue Mica?...Blue sapphire? ...Blue ..?

I have a rear lip spoiler ordered and while i'm waiting for that i want to organise the correct paint....Oh and on that subject...how much paint will i need.......heres a link to the spoiler....

I presume it is best to spray before premanently mounting it.........( my first spoiler....i'm so excited.. :hehe: )..

Get the paint code from under the bonnet on the chasis plate.

It can be a three numeric code or alpha numeric paint code.

The below codes are for Euro models (i'm not sure if Altezza codes vary from this list). Dont just pick the blue from the list!!!! Get yours from the your chasis plate and tell them at the bodyshop. They do the rest.

Please Please Please DONT attach the spoiler before its primed and sprayed!! If its a reputable bodyshop they will know what they are at! I would definately say this is not a job you do in the garage on a Sunday afternoon!

00 model will more than likely be Sapphire which is 8m6

Would be interested in hearing how you get on, I am looking at spoilers & this one looks the biz, not to OTT, suttle. I was going to buy then get the local bodyshop to spary & fit. Look forward to the finished photos.

No problem....i'll put up pics when its done...

Yes i didn't want OTT either but the car already has nice skirts so need a nice spoiler..... the "tte" lip spoiler is nice too, but too small to suit the skirts ( imo)
