Anyone Know How To Reset An Ipod Mini

while driving along feeling all chuffed at myself with the new armrest

my ipod kacked out and now it wont turn on or charge, any one know how to reset the unit so that i can get my tunes back?

Sounds like the Battery has kicked the bucket. You need to take it to a dealer. Hopefully you are still under warranty.

On the standard iPod, holding OK and MENU at the same time for 10 seconds make it reboot - I've had similar crashes in the past asnd this has got it going again.

Does anything happen when you plug it into the USB port? If nothing happens then you're iPod is dead! Try what IanF suggests though as it worked on my iPod mini and iPod video.

The dealer shoould replace it straight away if its faulty though as apple have sanctioned instant replacement. Well thats what the guy in dixons told me when he swapped my 30 gig video to a 60 gig video.
