Stock Alarm Question

As far as I know the alarm immobilisor is the stock item. Lets put it this way it operates from the button in the original car key. Is anti-jacking a standard feature? I ask as everytime I drive off the doors all lock when I get to like 10 mph. The drivers door doesn't lock from the inside but does from the outside which leads me to beleive that it is an anti car jacking system.

Anyone actually know what type of alarm immobilisor the car has?

not sure what type of alarm but mine has know got a toad on it but the anti hijack still works but mine is at 20mph.

Mines a Mentek Alarm, and the Anti-HiJack locks on 20 MPH as well.

Don't know what the manufacture of the alarm for the stock unit's.

Oh right. So does anyone know if the stock security is even an alarm or not?

Leave the window down, get out, lock the car, wait 30 seconds, then try getting in without the key (i.e. reach in and open the door from the inside), see what it does.

MMMM no alarm on a stock aristo by the looks of it. Odd that it should have anti-jacking without an alarm lol.

Yeah I doubt the MK1 has a stock alarm as my MKII didn't either...

There was no factory alarm on my when i bought it,has the anti-jacking though.

Getting a alarm was the first thing i had to do or no one would insure it.
