An apple Mac G5!! :D

Been such a long time since I last used a Mac and after 7 heavy years of PC use through work and College etc etc, im finding it a little trciky!!

Still, got so jacked off with waiting in twice for delivery of a PC I decided it was time to return to the dark side and politely tell the PC company where to stick there computer!!

Just thought id share this with ya!!

Well, as someone with a 5+ year old PC, I was thinking of getting an apple too. But as an over 50s person with only basic use/knowledge...e-mails, e-bay(!!the DRUG!!) and a bit of Photoshop, I guess I don't need TOO complicated a machine?

All input welcome.

Are they easier? (LOOK nicer!) Fancy the perspex one with those speakers (except that I feed mine though a PROPER hi=fi amp and full size speakers!)

But a nice BIG screen would be nice! :D

Windows over the years have pinched most of the Macfeatures. Macs are nicer and easier to use once mastered. Photo editing and web use is very easy. I relectantly use a PC a work now after after only having my Mac for less than a week Im already familiar to it.

Although the first computer I ever worked on was a Mac about 15 years, for the past 7 years ive been using a PC and always fancied having another Mac and have not regreted it one bit :D

Stands proud wherever its placed. Go for it, thats all I can say. Old issues with Macs not being very compatible etc etc have all but gone.

Transfering data from PC to Mac is very easy and worse case scenario you can actually have a virtual PC program which then effectivly turns your Mac into a PC.
