I went into the Bad Place (that some people call "Lakeside") today. It's a big place where bad things like "shopping" happens

I parked one of our courtessy cars near where I normally park, and went to collect my credit card from the 02 shop (where I stupidly left it the other day).

I came out and couldn't find the car. I walked up and down about 10 times clicking the alarm fob expecting to hear the doors open and see he light flash. That didn't happen so I finally accepted that it had been stolen, and walked back to work (freezing cold - only wearing a T shirt). Started deliberating about calling the Police and insurance company.

Later in the day I got one of the lads to drive me around there for one more look. Got into the car park and Keith says "there it is"- amazing enough exactly where I left it.

What's even more stupid than that is that because of the half inch of dirt covering it (hasn't been washed in months) I still didn't recognise it.

Of course much merriment was had back at work
