How To Transfer Videos To You're Ipod?

Downloaded a video from iTunes, yep great, working fine and great picture quality.

Im just trying to import other videos to it and im getting now where the help pages are not really any good!

Any help and tips appreciated?

you need to convert them with an "unofficial" ipod video converter first

itunes only lets you use the ones you buy from them afaik. :(

i dont have one myself yet

but Ive read about the conveter somewhere

Anyway, back to the topic in question, would something like Quicktime Pro 7 do it?
