Question For Charged Ppl Out There

Recommended Posts

ok ... this should go in the SC/turbo section ... but for some reason, I can't post there cos Im not gold (don't see why SC/turbo should be restricted to gold tho ... ) .....

anyways, my question is ......

what do you think is the "comfortable" operating temperature range for the TTE compressor? i.e. at what ambient temperatures do u think, the TTE kit would start to have problems or cause problems in other parts of the IS?

come'on guys .... time to show some mental muscle here ... this could be a deciding factor for me.... to charge or not =).

Looking at your car Bernard (front bumper) the intercooler will be getting lots of air :D you can and should put different plugs in (ik22) to help with the temp, one or two running the s/c have oilcooler fitted to :D (i have) when duncan was running his with the oilcooler on, his temp gauge it was -15/20 below normal running temp, after he fitted the cooler :D i dont know of any problems that anyone has had with heat and TTE kit. I think someone in OZ is running with the TTE kit, and we all know its hot down under

the legana bumper has the same open surface area as the normal bumper Gord.

anyway, as gord says running cooler plugs and an oil cooler will increase the safety envelope.

running a GOOD induction kit with shielded filter will help lots, as for general under bonnet heat, nothing to worry about
