Theres always Questions on the Power/Torque Output of the Jap import Toyota Aristos....

My car has been on the rolling road Today,like the title says its Bog standard and the engine is in good running order.

This is the power output for at the Wheels so if anyone wants to do the Math on at the flywheel then your welcome :)

Max Power at the wheels.....224.34

Max Torque at the wheels....221.08

So that should clear that up.

Stock on a j-spec 2JZ-GTE lump is supposed to be 280bhp at the fly. In reality most produce in the region of 320bhp. A mate of mine had similar power to yours and it turned out to be dodgy baffling in the exhaust come loose and restricting the exhaust airflow hence restricting your boost. You want some more oomph all you need is a decat pipe and a bit of a tasty exhaust.
