Blinkin Dash

hi everybody just got a 93 ls400 very happy wi it except dash blinks on n off then sumtimes doesnt work any ideas how to rectify this annoyin prob

Hi and welcome to the LOC.

Have a look through the LS400 section on the main forum page,the dash is a common problem with that model,if you cant find what your looking for have a look through the LS400 section on the US forum,the link to that is at the top of the page.

Known fault on early models, especially when cold.

There is a step by step fix on the USA LOC.

The original post was by Cole Carter.

You have to replace three capacitors on the circuit boards behind the

instrument panel.

I have done this fix on my'94 LS.

If you can solder tiny parts you can do it, I got the caps. from Maplin. :)

cheers mate spoke to auto electrician and gave him the info i got from this site so he'll get it fixed for me this week and cheap as he winna have to check everything n dismantle bits that dont need to be THANKS
