**** me sideways, a meet in Ripley

Who'd have thought the day would ever come :P

No point meeting at mine Mark, I'm 25 miles away from there now, would be easier for you to come off at J26 and straight across, it's only ten mins from there, if you want you're more than welcome to meet me up this way, I'm back at work next week

@ Dave, you're pretty knackered for hotels mate, the nearest I can think off from the top of my head would be the Premier Lodge / Travelodge thing in Alfreton, it's about 3 miles away from Ripley, not far at all!

Just realised Thursday is going to be pretty difficult for parking as they set up the market place for the market on Friday, parking will be pretty limited but sure we'll sort it out! That's the only bad thing. Thursday's are pretty busy up Ripley so that means FLANGE

There are a few Indian restaurants there now, sure we'll find somewhere :winky:

And erm not exactly sure but I think the local titty bar may be open Thursdays nowadays just in case any of you are interested :D

Sorry Dave had to rush out!

Thinking about things I would say the easiest place to meet would be the Brewers Fayre pub which is located opposite the Police HQ so make sure you numberplates are legal

That has a carpark and we can go from there - difficult to meet anywhere else as this is Ripley and it's not a big place

For you Dave you want to turn right out of your hotel, follow the road to the very end, about seven miles, and you will come to a junction where you will be turning left towards Ripley, think that's the A610 - basically follow that up to the roundabout, then take the second exit (basically straight on) and turn right at the small island with Macdoanlds on the left and the boozer on the right - can't meet in MaccyD's as none of us will get in that carpark due to the silly incline - saying that it worked wonders for my diet!

As for you Mike, easiest option is come via J26, straight across past Ikea heading towards Ripley, follow the bypass to the end until you hit Codnor, hang a right at the traffic lights towards Ripley, then follow that all the way until you come to a mini roundabout with Sainsburys in front of you, take a right at that roundabout, left at the next miniroundabout and then left at the next roundabout which is the MaccyD's and boozer again :D

Think it will just be the three of us!

Anyone else up for this? It's local, it's Ripley, and it's Thursday night, I'm even tempted to stay at my mum's and get slaughtered

Oh here's that pubs address if it makes things easier:

Brewers Fayre, The

Butterly Park Industrial Estate, Butterly Park, Nottingham Road, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3QW

Should be very straightforward to be honest :D

What time do you lot want to eat? Parking would be easier early doors say between 7 and 8, gets a bit crowded later on, looking forward to seeing some Pooooooooontang :D
