Radiator Top Pipe

I've got a bling new radiator top pipe, ie, to replace that short black stubby one which sticks out of the top right of the radiator.

Is this pipe full of water when cold? if I take it off to replace it, do I need to bleed the system or anything?

Times like this I need a haynes manual! :geek:

It will be full of fluid so make sure your engine is cold when you replace it!

If you're quick, you can get away with changing it without bleeding the system. Just top it up.

I've done it twice now (on my old IS and my Tezza) using the Greddy aluminium rad pipe.
