Is350 Vs 330

Recommended Posts

There's nothing there pal?

.. Edit .. It's there now :D

So how's the Beemer anyway?

Its fantastic. Got such a great deal on it. Its the second in ownership, already had a 330 ACS but fancied something different. Lexus was a great choice, but lack of power on the IS200 and i just felt that i couldn't throw the car about or manouevre with ease. Back end sits high as well, and with mum being small, and me at only 5'9", couldn't reverse or nothing.

325i sport was a comfortable ride, sporty feel, easy to manouevre and am well chuffed with it.

Weve owned 3 lexus' so far, we will no doubt be owing another 1 at some point soon.

overall nice looking car, classy interior, still can't get my head round those massive mirrors tho

with the current exchange rate "I paid msrp, $42400"

becomes........£23,982.........hmmmm good old UK bends us over again

so if everyone emails them every day

they should get the idea :D

well from what i have gathered from friends on the forum, this Lexus is something special. Great quality, great build, decen looks but needs a few alterations, and bags of power with great handling. This is a serious BMW 330 / M3 rival, even 335 come 2007 when its due to come out. This could become a very important car in the division its in. So yes, lets hope LexusGB do market it!

I wonder... will they do a special 'Altezza' model for JDM. Or a Qualitat or TOMs version..

I'm sure it will follow in the same sought of footsteps as the 'legendary' IS shape....

Well i hope :P

Oh, nice one on the IS350 btw :P

There won't be any Altezza as the vehicle will carry a Lexus badge. If they go with the luxury image as in other countries it is unlikely there will be 'specials'.

Did the Altezza come out in Japan when the IS200/IS300 came out?

I'd be suprised if there aren't any model changes, i mean the new model will run a 4-5 year course surely?

will the 350 ever be launched in the uk?

lets hope so. I think it's a maybe at the moment.

Got the word from the dealer after his Monaco training course, that the 350 import into UK will not happen. Some discussion around the 500 possibly being available at a later date, but presumably as a very expensive 'special'.

With the 350 now confirmed as not being available I was going to wait for the IS 250 Sport, but it's not available with leather, only man made 'suede'. As the 18" rims are available as a dealer option on the SE-L, and if a 'sports pack' is also available for the SE-L I may go for that rather than wait until March/April.
