thing is though i have had bt phone reps swear back at me, esspecially when they dont understand that you are working nights, and they are phoneing you at 10am, i asked the lassie if she would be happy if phoned her at 3 in th morning to ask her if i wanted to enroll for freinds and family? she was most put out of joint, the other one is to ask to speak to the organ grinder not the monkey, O2 cust services is my fave for that one esspecially when they are charging you for stuff you didnt use or an admin fault on there end,

credit card company phone depts are another one for that, if you argue your case enough they will back down, a mention of the sunday papers, and asking for their full name, and there bosses full name, ussually sorts out marginal problems in your favor.

it must suck as a job though being in the fireing line all day, i got bombs and mortars, i would rather be here than on the wrong end of someone who has just had their wages wiped out by an admin mess up

I used to work for BT faults and we all heard 'that' call a few times! I got people, not that bad, but quite swearish a couple of times a week.

To be honest you just have to take it in your stride and think well if people get sooooo mad that their phones are out of order then there must be something wrong with them.

But that guy got his service revoked, which happens very rarely at BT, and as a result will find it very hard to get telephony service from and major provider.
