Clutch Slippage!

Well the Lowrider has just broke the 70000 miles on the weekend and recently I seem to be crunching on the old gearchanging :crybaby:

slightly  over this being a Mechanic and all but just wondering if anyone had this problemo at this mileage

Anyone in LOC know how much a new Clutch will cost?

What are they like to change?

Is it worth getting a Performance Clutch as I tend to be a bit clutch heavy on occasion

All help appreciated - very embarrassing to break down being a mechanic..........

Cheers all

Just thought i'd put this to the top again as my clutch/gearbox problem remains :crybaby:

Changing gear - usually going up gears into 3rd and 4th.

Any suggestions...........

My diagnosis possibilities are:

1 Clutch on way out (70,000 just reached)

2 Thrust Bearing worn or spring

3 Sycromesh braking up (most expensive) :crying:

Answers on a postcard. People must have had this problem before???

Thank you
