Part Number (and Price) Is200 Piece Of Plastic

Some idiot has broken the black plastic trim at the bottom of the rear door on my IS. Last time he gets a lift to the pub at lunch.

Anyway, does anyone know the part number or price for the black long plastic trim from the rear passenger (drivers side) door. Its the wide piece that extends from under the seat and out along the door bottom.

The part number should be 67917-53010-C0. On the system it is called the "rear door scuff plate" and is a piece of trim that covers the sill when the rear door is open.

I think we are talking about the same part

The price is about £27

Thanks for your quick reply, its not the scuff plate (which is chrome on my sport model) but another piece of plastic that starts under the back seat and goes towards the door pillar. It sits between the carpet and the door rubber seal.

If you remove it (just pull upwards) the part number will be written on it underneath.

Then you can just phone your Lexus dealer and get a price.

Do'h, why didn't I think of that, when I originally called my local dealer, they said it wasn't the scuff plate like 'Gecco:8' suggested and I should pop in so they could identify it. Now I've took it off it has exactly the same part number as 'Gecco:8' posted. I think trusting LOC members over dealers is the way to go! ;-)
