That's what I thought to start with but the tattoo on her back confirmed it :winky:

(I didn't have a clue who she was until my friend on the Farce Car stand told me  )

Is a Canon 350D with a 75-300mm lense.

I bought it at the beginning of July, got the Body, 18-55mm, 75-300mm and 1Gb Memory Card for £850. The body alone was retailing at £700 at the time.

I've still got the 35mm EOS at home but wouldn't change this one for the world. You can afford to make mistakes with the delete button :winky:

What were you using for the pics you took? I assumed it was a fairly fruity lense (saw the pics at Mikes on Wednesday night :P

very nice

i have the 300d and was using a 18-300mm

i was actually practising at using the lens, its not often you get the ideal situation :whistling:

word of advise is only use sandisc cards (canon recommended), i have lost too many pics due to incompatable cards, they freeze and the only way to solve is to format, loosing anything on them

If that isn't a reason to go Gold I dunno what is! I might have to look into that.

I had that very problem at Trax - all of the pictures i took of the Club stand (the 700 series file on the card) froze and i couldn't do anything to get them back. Very disappointed.

I may have trouble getting back into Gatwick duty free with the receipt though to tell them it is toss !

Ta muchly for the word of warning though.

Oh - what is the 18-300 you were using. I may have to invest in one. 2 lenses rolled up together.

That way I can carry an additional lense in the bag (prob a Macro)

I was looking at a proper 300-600mm jobby (the hooge white ones you see the pro's with) but they are like £1.5 - £2k :crybaby:

@ Mark, I had a similar problem in Vegas, I'd taken loads of pics and the camera refused to recognise the card at all...

In the end I bought another card over there, used that for the rest of the holiday, and then tried the card directly in my Mac card reader when I got home - believe it or not that managed to read it :D

Guess a minor glitch can throw the Canon's out as I've had that happen on two different Canon cameras now but admittedly the first time round the card was dead, couldn't even recover anything off it with DD on Linux at the time....
