Question For Those With The S/c Induction Kit...

Just a question for those of you with the TDI silicone induction piping fitted to the supercharger....

Does it press against the side of the engine bay as I noticed mine is half cut off since it was refitted, going to try and adjust in the morning by turning it as far anticlockwise as I can without damaging the little bit at the top, left it unscrewed for now as it was too hot to touch it!

Just wondered if you guys also had a blockage there?

Also, not sure of the exact term but will the silicone go back to it's normal shape if I move it around a bit, or will it stay compressed? Not sure what the memory of silicone is like?!
