I was given my 4 weeks notice from work on friday ( due to office politics). Thought things couldn't get much worse. Went to a wedding on friday night at the london heathrow Marriot hotel. had my car stolen at gun point from the hotel car park. luckily it wasn't my lex but my Honda Civic type r. Might have to sell the lex anyways cos i'm back off to uni to do an MBA and need the cash to pay for fees and stuff. Still feel really shaken up.

What the bloody hell is this country coming to?

We should take a tip from the Middle East and start cutting peoples bloody hands off.

You say luckily it wasn't your lexus but the CTR was still your posession. In some ways i suppose you were lucky to get home unscathed but it is still friggin' disgusting the way this country is.

Bring back hanging. :tsktsk:

Lets hope your insurance company are sympathetic though.

Sorry to hear about all that. Hope your okay after the gun point robbery - I think I'd rather have my car took than my life ! ;) I haven't ever experienced anything like that before (and hope I never will !), but I bet that would have scared the living daylights out of me.

Chin up mate, like I put it could have ended up a lot worse. (probably easy for me to say, and hard for you to take in under the circumstances)

Having experienced a carjacking personally I know exactly how you feel, the good thing being of course you are ok. Having been made redundant I know how that feels too, can't imagine both at the same time though. Good luck with your MBA.. its good to look to the future :)

WoW!!! What bad luck! But as they say, you have to be down to appreciate 'up'? So life can only get better.

There are two themes here I notice. One is....don't live in London (he said smugly in laid back Bristol!) and the other?

Well, BOTH the guys on this link who got car jacked have VERY sexy ladies as their 'logos'....so SOMETHING must be comforting them in their lives!!!

Habeeb are you from Beckton area?

In any case very tough luck mate! Can't imagine what must go through your head when you're looking down a gun pointed at you. As already mentioned at least you're ok.

Hope they catch the fu@kwits very soon before they do some serious damage.

I dont know what to say, except my heartfelt sympathy.Things can only get better after this weekend

'Ditto' no one can console how you must feel, i echo all the kind words here and wish you all the best, destiny has many roads, most people dont find all of them, some dont find any of them, but with a clear ambition and honest understanding by somone that wants to move on you 'will' find one of them.

Book of Tony

:-verse.... chin up mate.
