Not that much out of the blue... the thoughts have been public for a while... 3K for a s/c or get an IS300.....

Went down the 3K and my car for a IS300 (same milage but 3 months older).

Just finished the car phone and PDA mount... sweating like a horse now! errrrrgh...

Shower then a nice relaxing drive up the M40 I think... I'm looking forward to the Air con... it was 35 deg in the car all afternoon whilst I was working in it..

Power wise, when I test drove it a couple of weeks ago, I came out of a junction sideways :o and managed to get the car upto 130 on the test track where as the old one would only get to 100 in teh same length of track... so all in all B) B) B) B) :driving:

Just have to be a bit more careful about booting it now :)

You should be able to push the 300 more mate as you've got VSC now!

The 300 is a much better base to work from than the 200 - bet she's nice mate :D

the IS300 has enough power - I had a courtesy IS200 while my 300 was in the shop being fixed and I was always getting in a right pickle with it cos it lacked power......

300 all the wayyyyyyyyyyyyy :driving:

new owner picked up my IS on monday nite, was a sad moment, had good times in that car, very very good times and no my garage is empty and i have no car for bout 3months

gettin insured on an S430 next week though which i will use every so often til i get mine.

Thanks for all the comments guys...

Well been out and about, 4 hours of driving and a couple of dead BMW's LOL

Managed to take it on the track again and saw it upto 140mph.... didnt bother trying for more as I was running out of tarmac :lol:

I'm very impressed with the HIDs got about 175 miles out of half a tank, so it's only about 25 - 30 miles less than the IS200 in terms of that, will start working out the mpg from the next fill up.

All in All - VERY HAPPY :D :D
