i drive an mr2 which i have recently bought some 2nd hand apexi n1 pros.

they too have an adjustable bottom mount and i belive i am expireiencing the same problems as you guys.

problem is how do i adjust the bottom mount? I have the locking nut undone but i have no idea how to move the mount.

any help would be greatful and sorry for gatecrashing your forum guys B)

Make sure that the threads are throughly clean, I usually wire brush them and spray loads of WD40 on. A tiny bit of grit will sieze the threads as they are so fine.

With no weight on the wheel I assume you are jacked up, slacken the lock nut at the bottom and just turn the whole strut and it will screw in/out of the bottom mount. If you can't turn it take some pre-load off the spring, after measuring the spring length first, so can get back to where you started.

Hope this helps :D

Cheers Neil
